Michigan Lady Playmakers was founded in 2019 by Shaquita "Coach Q" Coltrane. As the Program Director for the Michigan Lady Playmakers, Coach Q brings a passion for basketball and commitment to shaping the next generation of athletes. With a strong background in coaching, player development, and organizational leadership, Coach Q has been instrumental in creating a culture of excellence both on and off the court.

     Under Coach Q's leadership, the Michigan Lady Playmakers has grown into a  premier program that prioritizes skill development, teamwork,  academic success, and mentoring athletes to reach their full potential.   Coach Q understands the importance of discipline, resilience, and character building in sports and is dedicated to providing a positive environment where athletes not only excel in basketball but also prepare for success in life. But most importantly instill that "We are ONE team, ONE Family!"
